banker Banker pencils were cheaply produced in the 1920s and 1930s.  They came in some spectacular colors. 

Later models, first marked "Banker" then later, "New Banker."  Note the similarity between the clips on the maroon and tortoiseshell examples to the Starr.  Also note the similarity of te clip on the green and oxblood example to those on later Eclipse models.
